NEW YORK CITY-Construction is underway at Extell’s Gem Tower, situated on West 47th Street. Most of the 750,000-square-foot space in the building would be traded as condos. Gemological Institute of America would be buying space in the tower.

Presently, the mid-block is being built and has come up to street level. It is hinted that Extell requires commitments for a specified area before it can secure a construction loan. For the full story, go to New York Post.
