NEW YORK CITY-Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is starting a new business for commercial realty investments, which will perform property transactions involving fewer risks on behalf of wealthy individuals, big investors and pension funds. It will come under the Asset Management division of Goldman Sachs, which runs the Whitehall funds.

The company has appointed Jeff Barclay to head the new business. Barclay is the managing director of US realty investment wing of ING Groep NV. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
