CHICAGO-Denver-based Baceline Investments LLC has bought a bank-owned shopping center situated at Milwaukee Avenue and State Route 22 in north suburban Lincolnshire for $12 million. The firm has purchased the Village Green center, a retail and office complex measuring 121,000 square feet.

Since Chicago-based Special Assets Acquisitions LLC could not manage its mortgage payments on the complex, the property was foreclosed. Jeff Baasch from Sperry Van Ness’ Chicago office negotiated the deal on behalf of the buyer. For the full story, go to Crain’s Chicago Business.
