NEW YORK CITY-In 2011, the market for commercial mortgage-backed securities is expected to witness a faster turnaround, with $8 billion of new CMBS issues in the first quarter of 2011 forecasted by Jones Lang LaSalle.

As of November 2010, CMBS to the tune of $8.3 billion were issued, which was four times as much as the volume issued in 2009. For 2010, $10 billion worth of CMBS issues are expected. For the full story, go to Crain’s New York Business.
