BALTIMORE-Government Properties Income Trust, a REIT based in Boston, has purchased a two-property office portfolio in Woodlawn from Colony Realty Partners for $28 million. The 100% leased office buildings totaling 182,600 square feet are located at 6340 and 6300 Security Blvd. The portfolio was previously traded for $27.2 million in 2006.

The latest acquisition represents the REIT’s second purchase in Greater Baltimore. The company purchased an office building spanning 97,000 square feet in 2009 for $8 million.For the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal.
