BALTIMORE-The University of Maryland, Baltimore is preparing to purchase properties for new research and office space. The university has signed a contract to acquire N. 121 Greene St., a 14,700-square-foot industrial building, from the city for an amount of $608,791.

The Baltimore City Board of Estimates will meet on Wednesday to confirm the sale. The university will spend nearly $6.2 million to redevelop the building. The University System of Maryland institution is planning to utilize the space as officesFor the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal.
