QUINCY, MA-An affiliate of Boston-based Synergy Investment and Development has purchased the Josiah Quincy office building situated at 200 Newport Ave. off Route 3A in Quincy for $25 million. The firm has acquired the 145,752-square-foot office building from a unit of New York-based ING Clarion Partners.

The acquisition was partly financed by Principal Life Insurance Co., which provided a $13-million mortgage for deal. Brokers from Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller and procured Synergy Investment to purchase the office building.For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal.
