ALAMEDA, CA-GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively that Japanese low-price retail company Daiso has signed a five-year lease at Alameda South Shore Center for approximately 4,100 square feet, bringing its total number of stores in Northern California to 11. The retailer opened a 1,400-square-foot pop-up storefront at the 594,000-square-foot, open-air shopping center in this East Bay community last December as a test run that was so well received the company decided to expand.
