COLUMBUS—Ohio State University, which boasts a student population of more than 63,000, has selected the team that will finalize the design and handle the construction of the renovation program for its North Residential District. The decision brings to close a process that began in early December, when the university started in a competitive review process with each qualified firm to generate additional ideas on how to deliver the project. According to Ohio State officials, the review process has already saved the university $26 million, bringing the project budget down to $370 million.
