PATERSON, NJ-A new 22-story hotel could be coming to this city, according to a post on the city website by the mayor. Other city leaders are highly skeptical, though.

Mayor Jeffrey Jones said he has talked with a developer about a plan for a “cocoon-shaped blend of steel and glass” that would be built above the Great Falls at the site of the failed Vista condominium project, according to The Record. Only two weeks ago, demolition began of the one condo buildng that was finished in 2008.
