SHAKOPEE, MN-A $60-million project by fast-growing Internet company Shutterfly Inc. to build a new plant at the Dean Lakes business park here got a shot in the arm on Tuesday when Scott County commissioners approved a nine-year tax abatement.

With key incentives in place, officials with the Redwood City, CA-based firm say they are finalizing plans for the new plant project. Construction is expected to begin next month, with occupancy slated for next summer, according to the Star-Tribune.
