BETHLEHEN, PA-Gov. Tom Corbett and Walmart executives jointly announced on Monday that the retailer will open a 1-million-square-foot fulfillment center here by the first quarter of 2014.

The fulfillment center will employ more than 350 year-round workers, and its payroll will double with temporary workers during the holiday season, according to the Morning Call. According to a company press release, the Bethlehem fulfillment center will be the discount retailer’s largest ever.
