NEW YORK CITY-Equity One Inc., selected in an RFP last year to develop a shopping center in the Bronx, said Wednesday afternoon it has landed three national retailers for the project. TJ Maxx, Sports Authority and Aldi’s have all signed on to Broadway Plaza, scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.

TJ Maxx will occupy approximately 24,000 square feet and Sports Authority will occupy approximately 30,000 square feet on the second level of the 115,000-square-foot shopping center now under construction by North Miami Beach, FL-based Equity One. Aldi’s will anchor the first level, occupying approximately 18,000 square feet.
