RICHMOND HILL, GA-An Israeli company says it plans to build a plant in Bryan County that could involve between $70 million to $100 million in investment.

Caesarstone Sdot Yam Ltd., which manufactures quartz surfaces, says the new plant will create 180 jobs. The investment was announced by Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal on Wednesday. The firm will receive unspecified state incentives in connection with the new plant. No timetable for when construction on the plant will begin was available, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
