ST. LOUIS—Duke Realty Corp. has just rehired Matt Hrubes, a St. Louis commercial real estate veteran, this time to lead its overall operations in the market. Hrubes will serve as vice president of leasing and development, with responsibility for the leasing, development and marketing of the company’s existing 3.8 million square foot industrial portfolio, as well as new build-to-suit development.

Matt is well-known in the brokerage community and has worked with a wide variety of clients which will help Duke Realty remain one of the leading commercial real estate providers in St. Louis.”

Hrubes worked with Duke, a nationwide REIT that specializes in the ownership, management and development of bulk industrial and medical office facilities, for three years in leasing and development before leaving in 2009. He started in commercial real estate in 1999 and has worked for several other commercial real estate firms over the years, including Colliers Turley Martin Tucker/Cassidy Turley, Balke Brown Transwestern and DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield. A graduate of the University of Dayton, Hrubes has also served on the CCIM board of directors since 2006.
