NEW YORK CITY—Janet Woods has left DTZ and joined Stan Johnson Co. as regional director for the Northeast, based here, GlobeSt.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY.

She previously served as executive managing director for DTZ. In this role, she led the national and local nonprofit practice group and served as head of strategy for the local office. In the latter role, she developed the strategic growth plan for DTZ’s tri-state operations. Prior to that, Woods spent six years with JLL as an EVP and national director leading the national and local nonprofit practice group.

She also has been a principal at the Staubach Co., where she created the strategic business plan for the New York office and served as part of the leadership team that implemented various strategic initiatives and grew the office from $11 million in annual revenue to more than $35 million. Woods began her career as an associate in the capital markets division of Cushman & Wakefield—which was acquired by DTZ earlier this year.

“Janet brings great experience and strategic thought leadership to our team,” says Stan Johnson, CEO of Stan Johnson Company. “Janet will focus her time on supporting and coaching our existing brokers in building their businesses, as well as recruiting and hiring additional brokers enabling us to better serve our clients in the Northeast.”

“Janet also will lead the charge as we evaluate expansion opportunities within the region,”adds Harold Briggs, executive managing director of Stan Johnson Co. “Her leadership will substantially impact our growth in the Northeast.”

Says Woods, “The net lease business has tremendous growth potential, especially in this part of the country, and I look forward to contributing to that growth. It’s a thrill and an honor to join the Stan Johnson Co. team.”
