Bass Hotels has ended months of speculation with announced plans to build a 425-room Inter-Continental Hotel in Buckhead.
Hogan Group of Tampa is buying the 3.7-acre site and will build a 456,000-sf office tower adjacent to the hotel. Bass Hotels & Resorts, owned by Bass PLC of London, acquired the Inter-Continental brand in 1998 and has expanded aggressively since.
