Only 850 cars, about 23% of Ferrari's worldwide sales, are sold in North America. "The number-one factor in our selection was our passion for Ferrari, and that we are so involved with racing for our Corvette line," Cauley says. The new dealership is a 15,000-sf facility with two showrooms and a service area, all built in one year at a cost of about $2.4 million. Cauley Ferrari is now one of 30 authorized Ferrari dealers in North America. Three are in Canada. Cauley said he hopes to also sell Ferrari collectibles at the store and open it up for clubs and community groups.
