High-Tech Company to Relocate Headquarters

BizLand Inc., which bills itself as the leading online resource center for small businesses, has leased 62,000 sf of space at 70 Blanchard Rd. for its headquarters, now located on nearby Middlesex Turnpike. CEO Steve Sydness praised his company’s leasing agent, Spaulding & Slye Colliers, for the continued relationship between the two, stating that, “they met our needs when we leased 2,500 sf, and have served us well as we move into 62,000 sf.”

Spaulding & Slye Assistant vice president Matt Daniels says he believes the deal will benefit BizLand because it offers a short-term, below-market lease in space with high visibility along Route 128. Mary Lentz of McCall & Almy represented Oak Technologies, owner of the five-story, 106,000-sf structure, which built in 1987.
