The site was purchased from DHK Development, which was represented by CB Richard Ellis. A smaller H-E-B store in Katy will be closed when the new store opens in the first quarter of next year. H-E-B is in the process of replacing or expanding many of the 45 H-E-B Pantry stores in Houston. The Pantry stores are a limited-inventory concept, placed in a store of approximately 30,000 sf.
