Once Upon a Child Opens First Store in Japan

GOLDEN VALLEY, MN - Once Upon a Child has opened a store in suburban Osaka, and plans for at least 100 more.

Once Upon a Child, a used kids clothing and equipment franchiser, has opened a store in suburban Osaka, its first in Japan, and says there are plans for at least 100 more stores there. The store is owned by The Duskin Co., which holds the master franchise rights for Once Upon a Child in Japan.Once Upon a Child is owned by in Golden Valley-based Grow Biz International, a resale franchiser with more than 1,100 franchise stores in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia. Duskin is a major franchise developer in Japan, with more than 24 different franchise concepts, 10,000 locations and over $3 billion in annual sales.
