The Downtown LA office of Julien J. Studley Inc. represented both Lee and the seller, locally based CORE Investment Group. Built in 1982, the building is about 75% occupied, with tenants including the LA County Department of Human Resources, the American Cancer Society and Startpath.com.
Lee has purchased about two dozen buildings in the same area over the past several years, says Phillip Sample, a Studley broker who worked on the deal.
