Luxury Apartments Will Rise at the Shore

TOMS RIVER, NJ-Schenkman/Kushner will build 235 luxury units in New Jersey's fastest-growing county. Ground has been broken; completion is scheduled for 2001.

Altogether, Schenkman/Kushner has more than 1,500 multifamily units under construction or planned for the county. For example, the approval process is underway for 320 units in Toms River, with a formal announcement expected next month. Other projects include two 220-unit complexes in Lakewood and 140 units in Jackson, not far from the Six Flags/Great Adventure Amusement Park. Another 600 apartments are in various stages of planning at several county sites.
