North Metro County Gets Major Mixed-Use Development

CANTON,GA-Burgeoning Cherokee County, north of Atlanta, will add housing, office, retail and conference center complex in Canton area.

Fairgreen Development purchased the tract for $9.14 million, more than $9,800 per acre. The housing component is the first slated for construction. The development is near the recently-announced Technology Park Atlanta project that is expected to bring 15,000 jobs to the county over the next two decades.
