MERCER ISLAND, WA-A new shopping center addition is part of a 13-acre mixed-use development on the south end of the island.
The new shopping center space, to be completed before October, will house a Starbucks, a video rental shop, a hair salon and restaurants. It also will allow Longs Drugs, which replaced Lakeside Drugs, to double in size. The anchor tenant, a QFC, also was recently renovated.
