"Expanding our presence on the West Coast is consistent with Cannon Design's vision for the future and with our objective to be a prominent, well-respected force in every geography and market we serve," says Miller. Principal Daniel Dworsky echoes similar comments, citing a common culture "emphasizing the strength and continuity of client service" as a key asset in the merger.

Robert L. Newsom will serve as managing principal of the consolidated practice, which will be known in California as Cannon Dworsky. With more than 500 people, Cannon Design is already spanning much of the globe, currently participating in assignments in 32 states and 15 countries such as Latin America, the Far East and Europe.
