Equity Office Properties Trust has promoted Peter Adams to the newly created position of senior vice president of strategic planning and operations. Adams had formerly served as a senior vice president of Equity OfficeÕs pacific region.
Adams will be responsible for developing and implementing the companyÕs operating strategy and will provide direction to Equity OfficeÕs national portfolio and property management teams. He will focus on Equity OfficeÕs portfolio west of Chicago, the firmÕs headquarters, in addition to providing day-to-day administrative oversight of the portfolio and property management groups.
Adams has more than 22 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Equity in 1994, he was an independent broker and consultant for such clients as Sony and Mall of America.
