The two-block project is bound by Middlefield Road, Broadway,Jefferson Avenue and the CalTrain railroad tracks. The first blockwould consist of an 80,000-sf mixed-use building with retail spaceand a 20-screen cinema with 4,500 seats, and the second block wouldconsist of a five-level parking garage with 988 spaces and 35,000sf of retail space.

Field Paoli Architects and Western Innisfree Ventures would bethe project's developers. The environmental report touches onissues such as aesthetics, public services, and parking andtransportation. City officials will discuss the report withresidents at the Tuesday meeting.

Also included in the proposal are spaces for public art andextensive landscaping. Redwood City officials have yet notindicated a completion date for the project.
