The Detroit-based design company is providing program management andarchitectural and engineering services for the master planning phase of theproject. The company is also providing schematic plans for thearchitectural, civil and structural work, and complete plans for mechanical,electrical and process equipment systems.The first phase of the project is well under way, with the administration,finished goods warehouse and shipping building nearing completion. The wastetreatment facility, energy center and cistern are also under construction.
The second phase, consisting of a three-story manufacturing building, tankfarm and raw ingredients warehouse will be released for contractor bidsshortly.Target completion is scheduled for late 2000.
