RealNetworks Needs, Finds More Room

SEATTLE - The company that makes software to download music and videos over the Internet is adding a 133,177-sf building to its lease commitments, which includes its headquarters at the 175,000-sf Seattle Trade Center.

The company's headquarters will remain at the Seattle Trade Center, the 175,000-sf waterfront building it occupied last June.

RealNetworks makes software to download music and videos over the Internet. The company will use the extra 133,177 square feet to expand operations and create more room for the 400 employees it has hired in the past year. The company now employs 800 people. The company has not scheduled a date to move in.
