Walser Buick filed a lawsuit this weekagainst the city ofRichfield and the RichfieldHousing and Redevelopment Authorityalleging that cityofficials violated Minnesota's tax incrementfinancingstatute when they designated as blighted Walser's siteandother sites nearby. Meanwhile, city officials saythey are ready tocommence condemnation proceedingsagainst Walser if the cardealership doesn't agree tosell its seven-acre site.
