Office Project Draws Ire

SAN DIEGO-An advertising company's plan to build two relatively small office structures runs afoul of its neighbors in suburb of Solana Beach.

Lyon & Associates Creative Services Inc., owned by Mark and Susan Lyon,is in escrow on a home. The couple also wants to build a 7,590-sf, one-story officebuilding and a 1,680-sf studio on the 1.75-acre site on Stevens AvenueWest, according to city documents.

Some neighbors complain that thebuildings would be unsightly and inappropriate for the area.The Solana Beach City Council has toured the area and could discuss the project as early as this evening.
