nLight is reportedly negotiating for 20,000 sf in the new North Park Industrial Center located west of Northeast Andresen on Northeast 88th Street. Backing that up, nLight executives recently met with Clark County's Department of Community Development.
Construction of a building said to be for nLight is under way, but center owner Hinton Development is not talking about its negotiations. nLight reportedly expects to invest up to $ 1.5 million for tenant improvements in the new building and another $2 million to $3 million in equipment.
nLight is operating on $ 7.2 million in first-round venture capital funding from Mohr, Davidow Ventures of Menlo Park, Calif., which has funded several photonic-related businesses.
