Detroit Historical Museum to Get Facelift

DETROIT- City history needs to be preserved legislators say.

Modifications will connect the historical museum to other culturalattractions in the area, and specifically include construction of animproved bus drop-off bay, increased lighting, sidewalk enhancements, bettersignage and an outdoor learning space.

The money is part of $18 million the state awarded for projects and programsto improve art, cultural and quality of life opportunities for residents.
