Lowry is being developed into a multi-billiondollar mixed-use development, the largest build-to-suit project in Denver. The relationship between Janus and CarrAmerica began in 1998 in Austin, when Janus leased 51,000 ft for a new operations facility at CarrAmerica's Riata Corporate Park Since then, Janus has expanded its space to 200,000 sf at Riata Corporate Park.Janus' new Lowry facility will house up to 2,500 Investor Services and Operations employees, many of whom are currently working at various offices. The Janus campus will eventually include up to 1.2 million sf of office space. The 800,000-sf first phase will be completed in 2002. Janus will retain its headquarters in Cherry Creek, a tony neighborhood three miles southeast of Denver's CBD.
