In Lathrop, construction is continuing on one 230,000-sf building in the Lathrop Industrial Park. A proposed 322,000-sf building, also slated for the four-parcel industrial park, comes before city officials later this month.

Neither building has signed on tenants, but city officials have said that eastward pressure from Silicon Valley will make leasing the buildings a quick process. The facilities are expected to house companies involved in manufacturing and distribution.
