The decision results from a lawsuit filed by the city's realtors association, which claimed its policy didn't allow MLS posting on the private on-line residential real estate brokerage firm. The realtors board has changed its policy--in line with the National Board of Realtors proviso--since filing the lawsuit in March.
Federal District Judge James Nowlin will preside over a meeting Monday when the parties willdecide whether to proceed with the lawsuit or seek a dismissal. More than a month ago, Austin's realtors board asked the court to drop the injunction and dismiss the case because it altered its policy in late May.
