Organic Grocer Trader Joe's Plans Up to 20 Area Locations

CHICAGO- Needham, MA-based Trader Joe's grocery chain will open four new stores this year at suburban locations. Mid-America Real Estate handles a total almost 45,000 sf of leases in four locations.

The company is opening its first four locations in Northbrook, Glenview, Glen Ellyn and Downers Grove, all north suburban locations. Scheduled opening for the first four locations is November. Mid-America Real Estate handled the lease transactions here in conjunction with Milestone Associates of Natick, MA.

Trader Joe's has 132 stores in West, Southwest and East Coast. The company offers mostly high quality, private label foods and organic produce.
