The British Columbia-based company makes industrial plastic components mainly for the forest products industry. The move will put it closer to Interstate 5, but also closer several customers who also operate facilities in Woodland, including Sonoco and U.S. Natural Resources, a sawmill equipment wholesaler.
After operating the manufacturing division in Vancouver, Wash. For 10 years, Langley-based Redwood is moving into a new 21,700-sf facility it is having built on 10 acres it acquired at 1901 Schurman Way in Woodland. Total investment in land, construction and equipment in the new facility is about $ 2 million.
