Silicon Valley Shopping Centers Changing Hands

SAN JOSE, CA-The Silver Creek Plaza and Snell & Branham Plaza, along with others in Silicon Valley, are slated for sale as a result of owner Burnham Pacific Properties' decision last month to liquidate.

San Diego, CA-based Burnham must sell its 14 Bay Area properties. It also owns the Foothill Plaza in Cupertino, Gateway Plaza in Fremont and Bayhill shopping center in San Bruno.

Burnham said this week that Salt Lake City-based Developers Diversified Realty Corp. bought the Richmond City Center and Hilltop Plaza mall in Richmond, CA, and the Downtown Pleasant Hill center in Pleasant Hill, CA Financial terms were not disclosed.
