In a couple of rapid-fire deals, Shire sold the building to the Donato Group, a locally based developer (which had originally developed the facility for Roberts in the early '90s), and Donato turned right around and leased the whole thing to PRA International. The latter is a clinical research organization that had been occupying 34,000 sf in nearby Shrewsbury, NJ.
The East Rutherford office of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ arranged both deals, with senior director Jerry Richter leading the effort.
