The 325-member business group's executive committee unanimously chose its colleague Baranowski, 47, to lead the organization. Baranowski serves on the partnership's executive committee and plans to leave his position as senior vice president and San Diego regional manager of Beverly Hills-based City National Bank. Baranowski replaces outgoing president Laurie Black.
