General Atomics Signs Five-Year Lease for Extra 24,021 SF

SAN DIEGO-One of the world's largest firms dedicated to peaceful use of nuclear energy is leasing 24,021 sf of industrial space in the Sorrento Mesa area. The firm occupies nearly one million sf of engineering and test facilities, manufacturing and laboratory space in San Diego.

General Atomics has signed a 5-year lease with Luis and Celeste Bran valued at just over $1 million for the building at 6995 Flanders Dr. The San Diego-based company, which has 1,400 local employees, occupies nearly one million sf of engineering and test facilities, precision manufacturing installations and advanced technology laboratories in San Diego. CB Richard Ellis' central San Diego office represented the tenant, General Atomics and Colliers International acted on the owner's behalf.
