Adobe Adding Third Tower to Headquarters

SAN JOSE, CA-Software developer Adobe Systems Inc. says it will add a third 275,000-sf tower to its downtown headquarters here; construction will begin next spring.

The tower will include seven levels of parking. Construction is expected to start in spring 2001 and last a year and a half. San Francisco-based HOK Architects, designer of the first two towers, will design the tower.

With 800 employees at the site, Adobe is the largest employer in downtown San Jose's largest employer.
