Latest in Investor's Buying Spree: $8.3 Mil for Greentree Apartments

ESCONDIDO, CA-A local apartment investor continues a San Diego County buying spree, laying out $8.3 million for a 112-unit project in this North County city. Property rehabilitation is gearing up for the 28-year-old complex.

The North Broadway property's buyer is Greentree Townhomes LP, with Gleiberman Investments Inc. acting as general partner. In the past five years, Mark Gleiberman and his affiliates have acquired 14 apartment properties, totaling 950 units, in San Diego County.

The Carlsbad office of Colliers International has represented the buyer and seller, Amac Investments, in the transaction for the 28-year-old complex. An extensive rehabilitation project is planned.
