The site is being developed by Industrial DevelopmentsInternational of Dallas, Gary Lindsey, one of two Grubb & EllisCo. brokers who represented ACT, told GlobeSt.com. Details aboutgroundbreaking and delivery are not available. The Plano IndustrialPark developer, IDI, represented itself in the transaction.

ACT currently has nearly 1.5 million sf in state-of-the-arttechnology design centers and low-cost manufacturing sitesworldwide. It has operations in Marlboro, MA., Huntsville, AL.,Lawrenceville, GA., Corinth, MS, Santa Clara, CA, Hermosillo,Mexico, Angers, France, Thailand, Ireland, Singapore andTaiwan.

In early September, ACT put finishing touches on the acquisitionof Bull Electronics Anger, paying $56.6 million plus a workingcapital adjustment of about $50 million, according to companyrecords. The Bull Electronics facility contains 230,000 sf andemploys 750 workers. Earlier in the year, ACT had acquired GSSArray Public Co. Ltd. in Thailand.
