Hampton Inn Eyes Arlington Parking Lot

ARLINGTON, VA-Hilton affiliate looks for places to expand operations in Washington metro area.

The parking lot at 2000 Jefferson Davis Highway reportedly will be transformed into a hotel by October 2001, but Hampton officials have not confirmed the project.

The Washington metro area has room for more hotels, particularly the limited service Hampton Inns, according to hotel industry officials.
