Once considered a fringe office district, North Station has rebounded in recent years to attract a range of professional services companies, high-tech firms and public agencies. The opening of the Tip O'Neill Federal Building and, more recently, a new state courthouse that houses several state agencies helped the market substantially.
In all likelihood, Archon will not be the landlord of 200 Portland St. for long, given that the Texas-based real estate concern has retained CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners to broker the sale of the 112-year-old property, which was renovated in 1985.
