Bay Area REIT Buys Georgia Distribution Center for $6.1 Mil

SAN FRANCISCO-The 200,000-sf building in Norcross is occupied by BellSouth, which is committed to a long-term lease. Trammell Crow Co. will manage and lease the property, which has been renamed Atlantic Distribution Center.

The seller was Mitsubishi Electronics America. The building is occupied by BellSouth, which is committed to a long-term lease. Trammell Crow Co. will manage and lease the property, which has been renamed Atlantic Distribution Center.

AMB now owns nearly 7 million sf of industrial space in metro Atlanta along the I-85 corridor in Gwinnett County and around Hartsfield International Airport. It has acquired about 1.2 million sf this year.
