The building, to be located on the north side of Jackson Street just across from Union Station, will be constructed on property that Selig acquired in May after another developer was unable to secure financing for a similar project. Though the building isn't slated for completion until early spring of 2002, Selig says 50,000 sf has already been leased.

The new high rise will join several recent developments in the Union Station area, including Microsoft Co-Founder Paul Allen's 11-story office building at 505 Union Station, which was dedicated last week.
